Staceyann Chin

Staceyann Chin is a spoken word poet, performing artist and queer rights activist. She was born in Jamaica, but has lived in New York City since she was 24.
She openly identifies as lesbian references this in poems and performances. She eloquently uses her poetry to offer a critical perspective from issues ranging from contemporary political ones to personal life/lived experiences.
Words cannot express how truly talented she is. There are a lot of videos on youtube and she also has some of her poetry on her website. Check her out!
