This week I’ve got Bif Naked!
Bif is an American-Canadian musician, spoken word artist, cartoonist and actor. Born, Beth Torbet, her nickname ‘Bif’ came from a mispronounciation of her name.
Bif has always been open about being bisexual two of her songs – one of them a released single – actively reference relationships with women (Sophia and Everything if you want to check them out).
One thing I love the most about Bif is her open, in your face style of songwriting. Her music is not always super complicated, but it’s fun to listen to, very relatable and often empowering (see Tango Shoes – a song that holds all of those three characteristics).
